How to perform the Hang Clean with a Tsunami Bar:
The hang clean is an Olympic lift with many benefits, such as the rate of force development and power, full body strength and coordination. Start with the bar hanging at the mid-thigh position with a shoulder width, double overhand or hook grip. Make sure your back is straight and inclined slightly forward. Aggressively extend through your hips, knees and ankles to drive the weight upward while shrugging your shoulders towards your ears. When full extension is achieved, aggressively shrug and flex your arms with your elbows up and out. Pull yourself down while rotating your elbows under the bar and receive the bar in a squatting position. Drive through your heels while keeping your torso upright and elbows up until you are standing.
